We welcome all apples. Any amount of any variety and there is no such thing as an ugly apple! We have collected as little as a carrier bag and as much as two tonnes. Picked 5 apples off a tree and picked an orchard. Please do get in touch if you have any apples.
Harvest season runs from Mid-August to late November. We concentrate on Edinburgh and the Lothians but will travel further by arrangement.
We love to collaborate with schools/scout groups/community orchards/farms etc. If you are planning something around harvest time, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Tree Picks
On one day each week during harvest we take bookings for tree picks. These are one-hour slots where we come and pick the apples directly from the tree.
We will always offer the tree owner whatever apples they want first and are keen to emphasise that we only ask for surplus apples. Those you simply cannot manage to consume.
These picking slots fill up fast! Please contact to arrange.
In return for your apples, we offer a 10% discount on a bottle of Pochle.
Apple Collections
If you can pick the tree yourself, we arrange collections on two days of each week during harvest.
On the arranged day, in the arranged time frame you leave the apples on your doorstep/at the end of your drive and we swing past and collect. We transfer any apples to our own containers for transport and leave your container.
It is preferable to leave them in a bin or box (with due consideration given to the weather) rather than a plastic bag as the apple tends to rot quicker in plastic. (Not to mention the environmental impact)
In return for your apples, we offer a 10% discount on a bottle of Pochle.
Drop Offs/Apple Amnesties
You are more than welcome to drop off apples at different pre-arranged points around Edinburgh. Contact directly to arrange.
If you arrange to drop off at the warehouse on a juicing day, we can offer fresh juice in exchange.
Alternatively, we plan to hold apple amnesties in different areas of the city where you bring your surplus apples, and we bring the juicing equipment to you and exchange juice for apples.
Equipment Hire
We have plenty of juicing equipment and if you are a community orchard, school or farm you are welcome to contact us about equipment hire/lends.

We may have the capacity to offer a per tonne rate for windfall and outgrades. Please get in touch.
